Stories From the Journey
Every mission trip is filled with moments that change lives — sometimes in big ways, sometimes in small and quiet ways that leave a lasting impact.
This page is a collection of stories from the field — stories about the incredible people Hadley has met, the villages she has visited, the children she has taught, and the moments where God’s love has shown up in powerful ways.
From Papua New Guinea and beyond, these stories help bring supporters closer to the mission and give a glimpse into the relationships, culture, and experiences that make this journey so meaningful.
Each story is a reminder that missions are not just about places — they are about people.
Your monthly gift directly supports full-time ministry, mission trips, Bible teaching, and the practical needs that make it all possible.
Village Welcome in Papua New Guinea
When our team first arrived at the village, we were greeted with the biggest smiles and warmest hospitality. The families gathered together to welcome us, and even though many of us spoke different languages, the kindness and joy were something everyone could understand.
The people of Papua New Guinea live deeply relational lives. They spend time together, cook together, and support one another through everyday life. Being welcomed into their community was an incredible blessing.

Teaching Children About the Bible
Some of my favorite moments were teaching the children while the medical team cared for the parents. We sang songs, acted out Bible stories, and shared messages about God’s love.
The kids were full of energy and curiosity. Seeing their excitement as they learned new stories and participated in the skits was something I will never forget.
Life on the Medical Mission Ship
Living on the ship was a completely new experience for me. Our team worked alongside medical professionals providing healthcare to communities that rarely receive these services.
Seeing eye surgeries, dental work, and health clinics taking place while also sharing the gospel reminded me how important it is to care for both physical and spiritual needs.
One of my favorite moments was simply holding and caring for babies while their parents received treatment.

Lessons from a Different Culture
The culture in Papua New Guinea taught me something very important — the beauty of slowing down.
Their days are not rushed like many in Western culture. Instead, they focus on relationships, family, and spending time together. Watching how they live reminded me how valuable it is to be present with the people around us.
“They prayed over his hand three times, and his hand opened and was healed. This is the picture of him seeing his hand move and straighten for the first time in years. God is still doing miracles!”

No. You are welcome to give a one-time gift if that’s what the Lord is leading you to do. Partnership is simply a way to commit to ongoing partnership and receive regular communication about what God is doing through this ministry.
Please pray for strength—mentally, emotionally, and physically—as Hadley leads teams and teaches. Pray for open doors in new nations, for deep Bible literacy in every place she serves, and for God to fully provide the monthly support needed for long-term sustainability.
Your prayers and monthly partnership make it possible to bring biblical teaching, discipleship, and practical help to people who rarely receive it. Together, we can see Bible literacy increase across the nations.
“Thank you again. Your support is what makes it possible for me to continue sharing the Word of God with people around the world.”
